Admission Requirements

Eligibility

 

 

- The degree is open to law graduates from non-French jurisdictions. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their application file. A telephone interview may also be requested.

 

 

- Applications should include :

 

  • 1. The application form provided by the University.
  • 2. A letter written in French detailing the candidate's previous academic achievements and professional aspirations.
  • 3. A curriculum vitae
  • 4. A certified copy or a certified translation of the candidate's university law degree or other professional qualification. Candidates who are still in the process of obtaining their first law degree should send a certified copy of their transcript indicating the candidate's courses, grades and class rank.
  • 5. Two letters of recommendation.
  • 6. Transcripts specifying the level of French: C1 of European Frame of Common Reference for languages (or equivalent).
  • 7. Two photos
  • 8. A Statement of financial arrangements

- Candidates will be informed of the Admission Board's decision six weeks after the deadline for submission.

 

 

Tuition

 

 

- Tuition is 10 000 Euros. The tuition covers enrollment, health care provided by the social security system and study materials. It does not cover accommodation, meals, or general expenses.

 

 

- Participants are enrolled at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and receive a student card which will give them access to all University facilities and specialised research centres, as well as the inter-university law library.
