Second Year

Continuation in The QEM Erasmus Mundus Master:

During their studies in the MMEF program, students may apply to the accelerated track of the Master Erasmus Mundus QEM - Models and Methods of Quantitative Economics in January if they validate 30 credits in the first semester. A selection is made by the Joint Graduate Committee based on level of excellence. Selected students will enroll in the QEM Erasmus Mundus Master and spend their second semester in one of the partner universities. (More information can be found in the QEM Erasmus Mundus Master.)

Students may also apply to the first year of the QEM Erasmus Mundus Master after they receive the MMEF Degree. It appears that MMEF degree is an excellent preparation for the very selective Master Erasmus Mundus QEM - Models and Methods of Quantitative Economics program.

Continuation in a French taught Master Degree:

After the first year of the MMEF Degree, students may apply to the second year (M2) of a French taught Master Degree if they wish to get a second year Masters Degree. Our past experience with previous students show that the intensive courses in French in the MMEF Year allows students to attend courses taught in French in the following year. In Paris 1, most of the gradauted MMEF students apply to the following second year tracks in Paris 1: (1) Analysis and Policy in Economics (APE). (2) Mathematical Models and Methods in Economics and Finance (MMMEF) (3) Risk Engineering: Finance and Insurance (IRFA)

The choice depends on the domain of specialization and on the orientation of an applied or theoretical master dissertation:
