Second Year Master Economics QEM Paris

The objective of the second year in Paris is to educate students in advanced methodologies and models in economics and finance, with the goals of both research orientation for further studies and practical applications.

 

Areas of specialization are in Quantitative Economics or Quantitative Finance. More precisely: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Game Theory, Finance, Insurance, International Economics, Industrial Economics, Behavioral Economics and Experimental Economics, Mathematical Economics, and Econometrics .

 

Students can be enrolled in one of the second year tracks. The choice depends on the domain of specialization and on the orientation of an applied or theoretical master dissertation:

 

QEM2 Analysis and Policy in Economics (APE)


QEM2 Mathematical Models and Methods in Economics and Finance (MMMEF)


QEM2 Risk Engineering: Finance and Insurance (IRFA)

 

The structure of the studies are: Specialization courses (around 40 credits, including Foreign Language) and Master dissertation (around 20 credits)
