The course offered by Paris 1 provides an opportunity to gain an understanding of post-graduate level economic theory and its application. For me personally, gaining a post-graduate qualification in economics was vital to gaining promotion and making further progress at work. The opportunity to study in another country provided me with a significant personal benefit in terms of living in another country and learning a foreign language.
