The PSME program gave me a very good overview of economics on an advanced level.

In the first semester, four general courses (micro and macroeconomics, econometrics and economic growth) teach the basic theory and tools needed to advance further in economic topics. These courses contain mathematics on a high level, which I found very useful for the understanding of scientific papers and for my second year (MPhil) here at the Sorbonne.

The second semester allows you to go deeper into the topics of your interest. As there are some very knowledgeable Professors, these courses can give an interesting overview of the topic and it's recent developments. Finally, the dissertation in the end of the year gives an idea of how to write a scientific paper.

Besides this, the PSME program gives a good opportunity to get to know interesting people from all over the world.

For me, this was a great experience!
