Incoming Exchange Program Students

Erasmus+ incoming students and other international bilateral exchange program students

 

 

Dear Students,

 

Welcome to the Faculty of Economics of the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. The Panthéon-Sorbonne and its Faculty of Economics invite you to become one of its students. The university will provide you with all necessary information if you wish to come to Paris as a student or if you are already accepted in one of its exchange programs. You can apply as an ERASMUS exchange student with the ERASMUS coordinator at your home university. If your application is successful, your home university will nominate you as an exchange student to the Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. You can find more information about school exchanges in the international affairs office of your home university.

 

We are very pleased to welcome you and hope you will enjoy your studies and student life in Paris. If you have questions of any kind please do not hesitate to let us know.

The Learning Agreement

 

Please note that our delegate professors are full-time professors. Full time professors teach and work on their research activities. The treatment of your (preliminary) learning agreement can take up to 10 days. In order to treat your request the fastest way possible, please avoid sending multiple emails on the same topic.

 

We will organize an information meeting on how to register to courses before they start each semester. The date of the meeting will be published on this website. You will also be informed by email. You will be given approximately two weeks to visit classes before signing the final learning agreement in case you need to readjust your course selection. When printing your learning agreement, please only print on one side if it has more than one page.

The Courses

 

If you will be or are enrolled at the Faculty of Economics (UFR02) as exchange program student only choose classes of the list below. If you are an exchange program student registered at another Department of Paris 1 University you can also take some classes in the list published above if the international coordinator of your department of registration at Paris 1 and at your home University agree. All the classes we offer to exchange programs students are 3rd year Bachelor (licence 3, abbr. L3) and 1st Year Master (Master 1, abbr. M1) courses. Please note that you can mix classes of the entire list. Please choose the courses respectively to the semester you will be spending at Paris 1.

 

If the course includes a TD (Travaux dirigés; eng.: tutorial), you have to be officially enrolled in the TD. Because of limited capacity, only specific TDs are open for exchange program students. Your Erasmus coordinator will communicate the list of available TDs in the beginning of the respective semester.

The Transcript of Records 

 

The Transcript of Records (relevé de notes) is the document that shows your academic achievements. If you study at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and take exams at the end of the semester, a Transcript of Records will be issued and sent to you by email and your university. Please be aware that this might take a few weeks after the exam period. The Erasmus office does its best to send you your grades as fast as possible. Please avoid writing us asking for your grades. 

 

The University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne is part of the ECTS Credit system. French students need to obtain 60 ECTS per year (30 ECTS per semester) to validate the academic year. Foreign students can take less ECTS per semester, if the home university approves.
